The 2009 MMFF boasts of a powerhouse line up of entries, starting of with 'Mano Po 6" topbilling the Megastar SHARON CUNETA, with CHRISTOPHER DE LEON, ZSA ZSA PADILLA, DENNIS TRILLO, HEART EVANGELISTA, CIARA SOTTO, RYAN EIGENNMANN, BOOTS ANZON ROA, GLAIZA DE CASTRO, JC DE VERA. Then there's "Shake Rattle & Roll xi" topbilling RUFFA GUTIERREZ, ZOREN LEGAZPI, MAJA SALVADOR, MARK ANTHONY FERNANDEZ, JOHN LAPUS, JENICA GARCIA, RAYVER CRUZ, ALEX CASTRO, IYA VILLANIA, GINA ALAJAR. "Wapakman" with MANNY PACQUIAO, and RUFA MAE QUINTO, BIANCA KING, KRISTA RANILLO,POLO RAVALES, JOHN HALL. "Nobody nobody but Juan" with DOLPHY, "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" with VIC SOTTO, CHRISTINE REYES, JEAN GARCIA, DENISE LAUREL, WALLY BAYOLA. It seems that stars just keep making "ober da bakod" everytime, in terms of the Network War games. Stars of the Kapuso channel GMA-7 & the Kapamilya channel ABS CBN-2. It was such a big issue when GMA's prized talent ANGEL LOCSIN transferred to ABS a couple of years ago. Now, ABS CBN's prized talent CLAUDINE BARRETTO has moved to GMA-7. And following her in just a couple of weeks is Comedian BAYANI AGBAYANI, who was actually an original Kapuso talent, but moved to ABS, and now he's back again in GMA. Be Bench winner CARLO GUEVARRA, has also decided to leave the Kapamilya station, and move to GMA-7. And the latest buzz is that CARMINA VILLAROEL is moving back to ABSCBN, after her long-running show "Sis" is saying goodbye soon.
She is bringing her better half ZOREN LEGAZPI with her, as well as her twins. Another Kapamilya male star is reportedly moving to GMA-7 as well pretty soon, but it is not yet confirmed. ALESSANDRA DA ROSSI, who was once an ABSCBN talent, then moved to GMA, then moved to ABS, and is now reportedly going back to GMA. What a "Rigodon" indeed.
Expect more stars in the year 2010 to follow in the "rigodon". This early, GMA-7 male hearthtrobs JC DE VERA and RICHARD GUTIERREZ are rumored to be moving to the Kapamilya channel as soon as their contract expires.

BROTHERS & SISTERS.......

It's just 4 days before Christmas!!! And here i am, aside from being hooked on Facebook, there is one other thing i am deeply addicted to, and that is the drama series "Brothers & Sisters."
The lives of the WALKER family seem to be so intriguing and colorful, and their bonding as family simply amazes me. I have finished watching Seasons 1, 2 & 3, and Season 4 is presently airing in the U.S. I can't wait to watch Season 4. The cast is remarkable, headed by Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, and of course, Rob lowe, who has matured gorgeously.
The lives of Nora Holden Walker and her children Sarah, Tommy, Kevin, Justin and Kitty and their respective partners simply astonishes me.

FACEBOOK MANIA

One of the best leisure time one can ever imagine is playing numerous games on FACEBOOK. Facebook, indeed, has done wonders to most everyone! Imagine, being able to connect to friends from way back, and renewing ties with long, lost friends and relatives. That is a great wonder to beat! FB has been a part of our lives now, and adding enjoyment to that are numerous and wacky games that FB has offered, like FARMVILLE, FARMTOWN, PETVILLE, FISHVILLE, ISLAND PARADISE, etc. In fact, I must admit that i am now a certified addict when it comes to playing these games, most specially Farmville. It's like you're fantasies and dreams are coming true, by creating your own farm, and being able to acquire a lot of assets and money. Not to mention making friends with your neighbors, from across the globe.

It's just 6 days before Christmas, and the weather seems to be getting cooler and cooler. I still haven't completed my Christmas shopping, and i only have 6 days more before i can be able to finish it. This will be my 1st Christmas in a long while of not having any "partner." It feels kinda sad, thinking that there's noone special to greet you a Merry Christmas, and nobody special to give you a present or a gift. But it's fun to be single for a change.

PEOPLE Magazine's 25 MOST INTRIGUING PEOPLE for 2009

The entertainment magazine PEOPLE has come up with their 25 MOST INTRIGUING PERSONALITIES for 2009, and singer TAYLOR SWIFT tops the list. Among those included in the list are : Power couple BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE, U.S. President BARACK OBAMA and wife MICHELLE OBAMA, Actress SANDRA BULLOCK, T.V Icons OPRAH WINFREY and ELLEN DEGENERES, Singers RIHANNA, LADY GAGA and BRITNEY SPEARS, and current hot leading man RYAN REYNOLDS.

My 20 SEXIEST MEN OF THE PHILS FOR 2009.....

So, I have come up with my own list of The 20 Sexiest Men of the Philippines for this year 2009. It's just my personal choices, and if you dont seem to agree with my list, well....we are all entitled to our own opinions, right?
Here are my choices: Leading the pact is ALJUR ABRENICA, who seems to be the hottest young male heartthrob now. He is so sexy, and his appeal is simply magnetic. He is also very manly.He sings well and acts well. Then, there's JIRO SHIRAKAWA, who is Mossimo Bikini Summit's grand winner this year. His chinito features is such a stand-out and is one of the top male ramp models these days. Third is COCO MARTIN, who has practically shown everything already, including his manhood, but has transformed himself from being an Indie actor to a very in-demand tv drama actor, having garnered such positive reviews for his performance in "Tayong Dalawa." He is now appearing in a daily teleserye on the Kapamilya station. Next is DANIEL MATSUNAGA, who is Folded & Hung's top image model. His billboards are simply so enticing, and he plans to conquer showbusiness as well. Fifth is JC TIUSECO, who is Survivor Philippines 1st Grand Winner. He has since then embarked on a showbiz career and is now one of GMA-7's most promising lead actors. PIOLO PASCUAL, need i say more about this man who has consistently been on every list of Gorgeous men, and he has maintained his looks and his aura. He will always be my Papa Piolo ever! Next on my list is AKIHIRO SATO, who is one of Manila's top male models, and has since then embarked on a showbiz career as well, currently appearing in the top rating "Darna" on GMA-7. Another Kapuso hearthtrob JC DE VERA, who has resurrected his career and is now appearing in a star-studded Christmas serye. Jc is one of the youngest actors who has a scintillating sex appeal. Also in the list is MARK BAUTISTA, who is getting sexier and sexier these days, and is also a very good singer. His body is getting sexier and he should reinvent himself as a dramatic actor. A non-showbiz guy ATTICUS KING, has all the makings of a leading man, but he is content with being a media magnate, and is a very successful businessman. Then, there's JAY-L DIZON, who is a promising INdie actor, and has the boyish sexy appeal.
Another non-showbiz guy is BACCHUS ZULUETA, whose body is simply remarkable, and is one of Boracay's eye-catchers. The youngest on the list is TROY LIMJAP, who is barely 17 years old, and is a champion swimmer. Next on the list is DEREK RAMSEY, who is considered one of the sexiest leading actors of the Kapamilya channel. He has one of the finest bodies in town, and is simply so manly. I just love his color. Also included in the list is JOEM BASCON, a Piolo-look-alike,who is also a very promising dramatic actor, and is seen in shows of ABSCBN. Next is JAYSON COLIS, who was part of the VIVA Hot Men, and is now kinda indisposed. I wonder where he is now.
Another Kapuso male hearthtrob is GEOFF EIGENNMAN, who has also transformed from a teeny bopper guy into a dashing and sexy lead actor. He was last seen in the Kapuso teleserye "Rosalinda." Then, there's the very controversial HAYDEN KHO JR. Inspite of all the controversies surrounding his personality, Hayden is still so delectable, and sexy. Then, there's CARLO ADORADOR, One of Manila's top male ramp fashion models.
And completing the list, and ranking as the top sexy actor for 2009 is DINGDONG DANTES. Dingdong has proven to everyone that his phenomenal transformation has definitely paid off, and he is now considered to be the the top leading man for 2009.

Hanging Out At Tita Cory's Sister's Wack Wack Compound....

My mom and her three sisters make it a habit to get-together at least once or twice every month, and I happen to tag along most of the time. Today, Dec. 16th, was one of those occasions, and my Tita Cris, the eldest of the sisters, was the hostess this time. She lives in the Cojuangco-Reyes' Wack Wack Compound, since I happen to be related to the Cojuangco-Aquinos by affinity. My first cousin Linda Reyes, who is the eldest daughter of Tita Cris, is my first cousin, who is married to Jay Reyes, who happens to be the son of Lola Josephine Cojuangco Reyes, who is the sister of Tita Cory Aquino.
The Cojuangco-Reyes Wack Wack compound is actually a modest one, simple but spacious.
Lola Jo has her own place in front, along with her daughter Marisse, and her grandchildren. Then, another son Kit has his own place too, with his family, and the one at the back-most portion of the compound stands my cousin Linda's place.
Linda has this penchant for fancy decors in her house, and I was amazed at all the Christmas decors she has! Different kinds of christmas trees, and christmas ornaments scattered all over the house. Amazing! She has several colorful lanterns hanged outside her home, and every house in the compound has a Yellow Ribbon lantern hanged as well. You could very well recognize the compound as a Cojuangco-Aquino compound.
My Tita Cris prepares the most sumptuous of dishes, and for today, we had Inihaw na Liempo, with all the sidings, from manggang hilaw, to itlog na maalat, and laing, large shrimps, and arroz caldo, then she prepared this gigantic Maya Maya, and broiled it, with potatos and other vegetables, and made it into a soupy dish. The deep fried okoy was also delicious, with suka and lots of chopped garlic. For dessert, we had this classic Goldilock's Cathedral gelatin, and puto and kakanin.
What a feast indeed!
Linda's youngest daughter Bianca Reyes was with her boyfriend, Marvin Raymundo Wijangco, who happens to be a model, and a tv personality, appearing in ABS CBN shows.He is absolutely gorgeous, and drives a black Fortuner. Yummy!

Dec 15 today--- payday! Yahoo! I actually started my Christmas shopping this morning- i make it a point to do my shopping in the morning, since it is more convenient and less stressful, not much people and not much traffic (yet). I was only able to buy 3 gifts for today... for my 3 titas, sisters of my mom. I kinda found this cute glow in the dark item, and bought it. I also bought several pcs of DVD cases. Some "freaky" accident happened at Selendra this afternoon - a Honda Civic car burned and the man driving it burned to death. My old friend MANOLO QUEZON was able to take photographs of the incident, and it was so horrible to see the sight of the poor man trying to fight for his life, and even tried to remove his seatbelt, but sad to say, it was too late. You could very well see his hair dissapear from the flames, and after several minutes of struggling, there he was...motionless and lifeless. Speculations were that it could have been a bomb or LPG. But i guess it was a freak accident.
I had a very relaxing massage later tonight, from Daniel of Splendor Spa. Totally invigorating and it made me feel so good after.
Tomorrow is the start of the traditional "Simbang Gabi" and i'm still contemplating whether i could be able to attend or not. Knowing me......might not be able to...

Finally!!! I have long wanted to create my own blog, and post all my comments and sentiments of different situations and scenarios around me, and how it affects me personally, plus my interests on different stuff. So, here I am.....my very first blog. But i'm still thinking what could be my very first post here. Wait......still thinking.......
