The latest KAPAMILYA talent to move over to the KAPUSO Network is dashing singer-actor MARK BAUTISTA. He will be part of the upcoming musical variety show "Party Pilipinas" (replacing SOP) and will also star in an upcoming teleserye. Mark was originally a Kapuso, and transferred to ABS CBN and came out in "ASAP.:
It seems that the Rigodon de Honor continues in the tv industry these days. RUFFA GUTIERREZ and MO TWISTER have just moved to TV-5, and so is CRISTY FERMIN, and JC DE VERA will soon follow.
JANICE DE BELEN is said to be moving to the Kapamilya channel. But it seems that more talents are moving to the Kapuso channel, latest of which is Mark.

MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY.......

I got to watch another very entertaining movie the other day at the Gateway Mall, accompanying my mom, since senior citizens get the privilege of watching movies for free. We decided to watch the movie "Miss You Like Crazy" under Star Cinema, and stars BEA ALONZO and JOHN LLOYD CRUZ. Both of them have already made several blockbuster movies in the past as a love team, and it seems that their box office appeal has been going stonger. They have this incredible chemistry together on screen, and all of their movies are the feel-good type of romantic dramas. MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY is a very heartwarming, tearjerker type of a romantic movie and most definitely, you will fall in love with the movie and their characters. BEA and JOHN LLOYD are very good actors, and they manage to give justice to their roles everytime.
It is a movie worth watching, and i also would like to commend MARICAR REYES's performance in the movie as John Lloyd's ex-girlfriend.

82nd OSCAR AWARDS WINNERS.......

THE 82nd Annual OSCAR Academy Awards was held last night at the KODAK Theatre, and the IRAQ-themed movie "The HURT LOCKER' bagged the BEST PICTURE Award, and 5 other awards, including BEST DIRECTOR- KATHRYN BEGALOW, who is the very 1st Female to ever win the Best Director award. SANDRA BULLOCK earned her very 1st BEST ACTRESS win and nomination for the movie "The Blind Side." JEFF BRIDGES finally bagged the BEST ACTOR Award after having been nominated 4 times before, for the movie "Crazy Heart."
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR went to CHRISTOPH WALTZ for "Ingluorious Bastards" and BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS went to MO'NIQUE for "Precious."
The event was hosted by STEVE MARTIN and ALEC BALDWIN. Among the presentors were- BARBRA STREISAND, MATT DAMON, SIGOURNEY WEAVER, TOM HANKS, MAGGIE GYLENHALL and brother JAKE GYLENHALL, ZACH EFRON, MYLEY CYRUS, KATE WINSLET, PENELOPE CRUZ, SEAN PENN, CAMERON DIAZ, COLIN FARELL, FOREST WHITAKER, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, JENNIFER LOPEZ and BEN STILLER.

BINIBINING PILIPINAS WINNERS 2010....

The 2010 Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant finals was held last Saturday March 6 at the Araneta Coliseum. MARIA VENUS RAJ won BB. PILIPINAS UNIVERSE, CZARINA CATHERINA GATBONTON won BB. PILIPINAS WORLD and TV Personality KRISA MAE ARRIETA KLEINER won BB. PILIPINAS INTERNATIONAL. Runners up are: DIANE NECIO (1st runner up) and my personal favorite HELEN NICOLETTE HENSON (2nd runner up.) The event was hosted by DINGDONG DANTES, and judges included CLAUDINE BARRETTO, NONITO DONAIRE, MIKE ENRIQUEZ, AURORA PIJUAN.
